Here’s some absolutely tragic news for clam lovers – Playboy announced yesterday that it will no longer publish nude photos.
That’s right, you’ll no longer be able to get a look at the white bits of your favourite celebs and models, as of March 2016.
This makes no sense to us at Ginger Clam because surely that’s the whole point of the magazine – and let’s be honest no one has ever bought the “I buy it for the articles” excuse.
Playboy says the rise of internet porn is to blame.
”You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passé at this juncture,” Playboy Enterprises CEO Scott Flanders told The Times.
The magazine started in 1956 when Marilyn Monroe got her clam out and has since then featured many a famous face such as Kim Kardashian, not that you need to buy Playboy in order to see her stripping her clothes off.
We can only hope that the great man Hugh Hefner reconsiders!
