NCIS Storms Tuesday Nights on 5USA
Tuesday, 13 October, starts at 08:10 GMT with NCIS Season 7 Episode 1, titled “Truth or Consequences.” The series dives into Gibbs’s search for Ziva’s replacement, while the past continues to shadow the team. For long‑time fans, the blend of personal drama and procedural intrigue remains one of the better options in the crime‑drama corridor.
The NCIS Trajectory
Episode 2, “Reunion,” keeps the tension alive as Gibbs grapples with the murder of a Marine and the fate of Ziva. The episode maintains the series’ hallmark of deep character work without sacrificing plot momentum.
Episode 3, “US crime drama,” brings a journalist to the fore, forcing the team to reopen a closed case. The narrative’s focus on media influence adds a contemporary edge to the familiar formula.
Law & Order – The Classic Counterpoint
From 11:00 GMT to 15:00 GMT, Law & Order Season 14 continues with five consecutive episodes. The early hours feature a custody battle over a hotel balcony death, a city‑hall shooting, a veteran’s murder suspicion, a student’s tragic fall, and a case involving a controversial antidepressant. The series’ brisk pacing and social‑issue focus keep it a reliable companion in the late‑morning block.
Special Victims Unit – A Night‑Long Investigation
From 21:00 GMT onward, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 25 delivers three episodes. The first sees the squad celebrating a newborn while another child vanishes in daylight. The second involves a flash‑mob robbery leading to sexual assault, and the third explores a gang member’s assault and a shocking piece of evidence. The show’s emotional depth and procedural clarity make it a strong late‑night anchor.
Beauty & the Beast – A Twist of Romance and Suspense
Starting at 00:55 GMT, the two‑part story of Vincent’s arrest and the subsequent city‑wide chase offers a blend of detective work and romantic tension. While the plot may feel familiar, the dynamic between Vincent and Cat adds a fresh layer to the series.
Entertainment News on 5 – Quick Glimpses of Celebrity Life
At 08:00 GMT and again at 02:50 GMT, the channel airs a concise daily roundup of entertainment gossip. Though short, the segment provides a quick distraction from the heavier dramas.
Shopping Slots – Ideal World & Teleshopping
From 05:00 GMT to 08:00 GMT and from 03:00 GMT to 05:00 GMT, the schedule features Ideal World Shopping and Teleshopping. While not a narrative focus, these blocks offer a practical break for viewers needing a quick shopping fix.
Bottom Line
The Tuesday lineup on 5USA delivers a solid mix of crime‑drama staples and a touch of romance. NCIS and Law & Order bookend the evening with reliable storytelling, while Beauty & the Beast adds a lighter, yet engaging, narrative. Keep an eye out for schedule changes, but the current slate promises a satisfying viewing experience.
