ITV2 Wednesday Line‑up: From Beverly Hills to Backyard Builds – What to Watch
If you’re looking for a mix of drama, design and a few laughs, ITV2’s Wednesday schedule offers a little of everything. The evening opens with the glitz of the Real Housewives franchise, then slips into a DIY spectacle, a fashion showdown, a game‑show classic and some animated mischief. Below, we dive into the key programmes and give a quick opinion on each.
Reality Royalty: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The show takes viewers to Florence for a high‑end shopping spree. Rachel’s debate over cutting her trip short for family shows the series balances opulence with relatable family pressures. It remains a solid pick for those who enjoy the blend of luxury and personal conflict.
Keeping Up with Potomac: New Episodes Roll Out
The Potomac version brings a fresh set of drama to the Colorado getaway. The clash over accommodations adds a layer of tension that keeps viewers hooked, though the stakes feel slightly lower than the Beverly Hills counterpart.
The Only Way Is Essex – Intimate Get‑Togethers
Two episodes feature barbecues, garden parties and a dog celebration. The format continues to deliver relatable humour and light‑hearted narrative, making it a dependable casual watch.
DIY Delight: Backyard Builds
Brian McCourt and Sarah Keenleyside transform a backyard into a cake studio and football field. The episode showcases creativity and practical design tips, making it worthwhile for DIY enthusiasts.
Fashion Face‑Off: Dress to Impress
Three designers battle it out for a model’s favour. The competitive atmosphere is engaging, though the show’s pacing might feel predictable to seasoned viewers.
Game On: Deal or No Deal
Stephen Mulhern’s classic game show sees a contestant face the Banker. The tension is palpable, and the format remains a reliable source of light entertainment.
Quiz Night: The 1% Club
Lee Mack hosts a quiz where contestants can win up to £100,000. The show’s high stakes add excitement, though it may lean on familiar quiz tropes.
Animated Antics: Family Guy, American Dad!, Bob’s Burgers
Three animated series cap the night – a space‑driven adventure, a family‑centric saga and a quirky burger‑shop tale. Each offers humor that ranges from irreverent to heartfelt, making them a reliable late‑night laugh.
Bottom line: ITV2’s Wednesday lineup gives you a spectrum of content. Whether you’re chasing the glitz of Beverly Hills, the DIY charm of Backyard Builds, or the comedic relief of animated shows, there’s something that fits a casual or intentional viewing mood.
