Deal or No Deal – The Classic Cash Grab
Stephen Mulhern returns with a new contestant, Michael, ready to outwit The Banker in the familiar tense box‑room. The show’s pacing feels fresh, and the stakes remain as high as ever.
Opinion: It’s still entertaining to watch the tension build; the new host energy keeps the format lively, even if the core formula hasn’t changed.
The Chase – Quiz Show Supremacy
Bradley Walsh guides a team of contestants against the country’s finest quiz brains. The rapid‑fire questions and friendly banter make it a solid pick for a quick dose of intellect.
Opinion: Holds up well as a feel‑good brain‑teaser, though it can feel a bit predictable for regular viewers.
Dickinson’s Real Deal – Auction Antics
David Dickinson and his team tackle a collection of pop‑culture autographs at the Jet Age Museum. The auction proceedings promise a mix of nostalgia and negotiation.
Opinion: Offers a reliable look into the auction world; it’s fun for fans of vintage collectibles.
Ireland v Argentina – Nations Championship Rugby
The opening game of the Autumn Nations Championship sees Ireland take on Argentina in Dublin. With both teams eager to start the season strong, the match promises plenty of drama.
Opinion: A solid sports highlight for rugby fans; the live commentary keeps the tension alive throughout.
John Wick – Action Film
Keanu Reeves returns as a retired hitman in this 2014 thriller. The film delivers high‑speed chases and intense fight scenes that are a treat for action lovers.
Opinion: Still reliable as a late‑night adrenaline fix, though it may feel dated to fresher audiences.
Bottom Line
