Friday Action Lineup: Volcano Drama, Arctic Rescues & More

Looking for a kick‑ass evening? The “GREAT! Action” channel has a solid mix of danger, drama and real‑world heroics to keep you glued. Let’s break down the top picks for Friday.

00:55 – 01:55 The Baron

A period thriller with a gripping kidnapping plot. The tense pacing makes it a decent filler if you’re in the mood for a lighter thriller. Still entertaining for a quick watch.

01:55 – 03:30 Disaster Zone: Volcano In New York

One of the rare shows where a city literally erupts. With Michael Ironside leading the charge, the film delivers high‑energy action and a palpable sense of danger. One of the better options for a thrill‑seeker.

03:30 – 04:15 Coast Guard Alaska – Episode 5

Real‑world rescue missions that feel like high‑stakes drama. The crew’s bravery and the icy backdrop make it a solid, reliable watch. Holds up well for those who enjoy authentic action.

04:15 – 05:00 Coast Guard Alaska – Episode 4

Same crew, different challenge. The episode’s tension is a bit lower, but it still offers a glimpse into the harsh conditions faced by rescuers. One of the better options if you want to keep watching.

05:00 – 05:30 Teleshopping

A brief break from drama. Not much to recommend here.

05:30 – 06:00 Teleshopping

Another quick slot. Use the time to prepare for the next block of action.

Bottom Line

Friday’s lineup leans heavily on high‑risk drama, from volcanic eruptions to icy rescues. Pick the disaster film for the strongest adrenaline hit, or opt for the Coast Guard series for a more grounded thrill. The night offers a solid mix that should satisfy most action lovers.
