Here’s an amazing piece of footage that’s currently melting hearts on the internet.
If you love animals then surely you can’t fail to be moved by the video below of Derby, a cute-looking canine that was born with both his front legs badly deformed.
The poor mutt faced a life of misery hobbling about on twisted stumps – until he was spotted at a dog rescue home by tech worker Tara Anderson, a director at 3D Systems in Hillsborough, New Hampshire.
She teamed up with a local vet and together they devised a way of making Derby more mobile with the help of false legs created on a 3D printer.

Derby can now run and jump like a normal dog and has been adopted by couple Dom and Sherry Portavona.
Dom said: “I don’t impress easily but when I saw him sprinting it was amazing. I couldn’t believe it!”
You can read all the technical whackerty-boo about Derby on the 3D Systems website.
Personally, we’d rather just watch the video (see below). Meanwhile, if you’re looking for more great content to watch over the New Year season then check out FilmOn.com – where there are hundreds of great free live web TV channels to choose from.
