Bad boy singer Chris Brown’s hopes of sipping an ice-cold drink Down Under are becoming unlikely – as the Australian government is apparently considering whether or not to deny him entry due to his previous violent behaviour.

To jog your memory, back in 2009 Breezy pleaded guilty to assaulting pop babe Rihanna – showing the world that he’d acted like a super douche.

The BBC says that as a result the singer now has 28 days to present a case as to why he should be granted a visa to enter Australia (so presumably he needs to do a giant list explaining why he’s not a total dick-head any more!).

The Aussie’s Minister for Women, Michaelia Cash, said: “If you are going to commit domestic violence there are going to be countries that say to you, ‘you cannot come in because you are not of the character that we expect’.”

Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said his department has issued a ‘notice of intention to consider refusal.’

Ironically thousands of female fans will be heartbroken if he’s denied access but as always, we don’t give a shit.
